About Me

I am a passionate educator and writer devoted to bringing timeless Jewish wisdom into today’s world.

My path was not the traditional one. I wasn’t the yeshiva kid who spent years in the beis midrash. In fact, I was the one with pen marks on my face because I’d fall asleep in shiur. Only later in life did I begin to set aside a fixed time for learning each day.

I started simply-with one se’if of Kitzur Shulchan Aruch a day. From there I added Daf Yomi (Baruch Hashem, I am now in my third cycle), and began Mavneh Sidra. For many years now I’ve done it five times each week: once in English, Shnayim Mikra V’Echad Targum, and with all of Rashi. Along the way I’ve built additional daily sedarim in mussar, mishnayos, Mishnah Berurah Yomi, and davening with kavanah.

Driven by a desire to master Hilchos Shabbos, I dedicated five years to earning semicha in both Hilchos Shabbos and advanced Hilchos Shabbos. I then pursued Basar B’Chalav semicha, and am currently in the middle of Safrus studies, with plans to begin Taruvos soon.

The goal behind all of this is simple: if I can do it, anyone can. My journey shows that no matter where you start, with commitment and consistency, you can grow in Torah and transform your life.
